Does this badge prove legal compliance?

No. It is a visible transparency aid, not legal advice, a provenance certificate, or proof that every applicable requirement has been met.

Do I have to upload my image?

No. Download a separate PNG strip for your own editor, or optionally choose a finished portrait in this tab to add a disclosure underneath it. The local labeling tool does not upload the image. Its new PNG keeps the whole resized image but may not preserve embedded metadata or content credentials. Keep your original and any platform disclosure.
