Check the portrait
before the AI has to guess.

Add up to five source photos. This page checks the technical basics locally, so you can replace a weak portrait before spending a generation.

Watch the checker steps 39 seconds · silent guide

Captured from this checker using its built-in AI-generated example portraits. Stationary gaps are cut and key states held for reading; this is not continuous real-time footage. Captions are guidance, not speech. Use fullscreen for the controls, or follow the same steps below.

  1. Choose permissioned portraits. Use “See a ready example” to try the built-in AI examples first. Your selected photos are checked in this browser, not uploaded by this page.
  2. Read the four signals. Resolution, light, sharpness and crop are technical estimates. Check faces and permission yourself; a high score cannot guarantee an AI result.
  3. Keep the photos you want. Remove one portrait without losing the others. Choosing photos in the main picker starts a new group.
  4. Decide before opening the app. This checker is free. App generation uses paid tokens; Premium is an optional, auto-renewing subscription. Check current prices and renewal terms in the app. Select your photos again there—this page does not transfer them.
  5. Clear the selection. “Clear photos” removes this tab’s selected portraits and results so you can start again.

JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC stills · up to 5 photos

HEIC opens locally using its primary still image, up to 12 MB and 24 megapixels. Motion is not checked and colors can differ. Stop checking or Clear photos stops decoding. Unsupported variants or browsers still need on-device JPEG conversion. Local decoder notices

What the scan catches

Four signals.
One better starting point.

  1. 01
    Resolution

Enough source detail for the face to stay useful after processing.

  2. 02
    Light

Avoids shadows or blown highlights that hide facial features.

  3. 03
    Sharpness

Estimates blur from local pixel detail. It is a guide, not a camera-lab test.

  4. 04
    Crop shape

Flags extreme panoramas and narrow crops that often leave too little portrait context.

Before you create

Good inputs,
fewer surprises.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The technical checks run locally in your browser. Your selected photos are not sent to TogetherLens or an AI provider by this page.

What does the checker measure?

It estimates resolution, overall light, sharpness, and crop shape. It cannot reliably judge likeness, expression, consent, or whether a face is fully visible, so the page includes a short visual checklist for those points.

Can a high score guarantee a perfect AI portrait?

No. A strong source photo gives the model better information, but generated results can still vary. Always review faces and details before sharing or printing.

What kind of source portrait works best?

Use one person per photo, facing the camera, with an unobstructed face, even light, natural detail, and enough room around the head and shoulders.
